The Retail Lab at PM SHRI Government Model Senior Secondary School, Mandi is designed to provide students with practical exposure to the retail and service sector in accordance with CBSE skill education guidelines. The lab supports experiential learning by helping students understand real-world retail operations, customer handling, and workplace professionalism.
Students are trained in key areas such as customer service, sales techniques, visual merchandising, inventory management, billing processes, and communication skills. The Retail Lab also promotes teamwork, ethical practices, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Through hands-on activities and guided practice, the Retail Lab prepares students for employment, entrepreneurship, and higher studies in the retail and service industry, while developing confidence and industry-relevant skills.
