The Health Care Lab at PM SHRI Government Model Senior Secondary School, Mandi is established to support CBSE Skill Education and vocational learning in the healthcare sector. The lab provides students with practical knowledge and hands-on training to understand basic healthcare practices and patient care procedures.
Students learn essential skills such as first aid, basic nursing care, hygiene and sanitation, health and safety practices, vital signs monitoring, and effective communication in healthcare settings. The lab also helps students develop empathy, responsibility, teamwork, and ethical values.
Through activity-based learning and guided training, the Health Care Lab prepares students for future opportunities in healthcare services, higher education, and skill-based careers, while promoting a strong foundation in health awareness and community well-being.
